Waking up from a summer afternoon nap – the rustling leaves, the gentle breeze, the scent of dried straw after harvest, and the sound of fish and shrimp splashing in the water basin my mom just brought home. Summer in Vietnam is truly lovely!

When I designed this collection, I felt genuinely happy. Each design was a journey of digging through and picking up familiar little objects from the garden and childhood kitchen corners of so many Vietnamese people. One piece recalls a paper kite, another a bamboo fan, another the kids’ game of chicken-fighting with grass, or fish traps, glowing charcoal, or my father’s worn – out vest… 36 designs, each a vivid image.

At the end of the show, guests and the press stayed behind, waiting – despite their busy schedules – to chat, interview, and offer compliments. That, to me, was an incredibly joyful moment as a designer presenting in France for the first time. Most of all, when I heard them say how each design evoked amazement, how they could clearly picture a Vietnam that stood apart – distinct from any other Asian country – rich in identity and resplendent in spirit. Combined with the techniques and execution of high fashion, crafted with meticulous detail, they said they looked forward to seeing more of my shows – a design DNA born from Vietnam.

My journey of learning and researching Haute Couture is an ongoing one. I strive each day to one day bring the essence of global fashion back to enrich and beautify the fashion industry and the lives of many people in Vietnam.

The Beauty of Small Things

Finding beauty in the smallest things, this collection captures intimate memories and everyday moments rather than grandeur or spectacle. Each piece whispers softly, evoking sincerity and subtle sophistication hidden within simplicity.

At Palais de Tokyo, the raw lines and natural light become a poetic backdrop for the collection, elevating the humble beauty of homeland through the refined lens of haute couture.
