Paris, January 2026 — With the Couture Spring–Summer 2026 collection, PHAN HUY enters a decisive new chapter, marking a significant milestone
as the house officially joins the calendar of Paris Haute Couture Week. This debut not only reflects the brand’s evolution, but also represents a formal
commitment to the highest standards of craftsmanship, heritage, and artistic value that define Haute Couture.

Titled “The Golden Branch and Jade Leaf” (Born of Gold and Jade), the collection evokes the purity and gentle renewal of spring through the lens of Vietnamese imperial court aesthetics. The title references a rare historical treasure: exquisite ornamental floral artworks crafted by ancient artisans, featuring branches cast from solid gold and leaves carved from genuine jade. Today, only three such precious artifacts remain, preserved in Hue as silent witnesses to a poetic and refined past.

Beyond its literal meaning, The Golden Branch and Jade Leaf carries profound cultural symbolism. In Vietnamese tradition, the phrase denotes individuals of noble lineage — gentlemen and ladies of elevated status, graceful bearing, and refined upbringing. This metaphor forms the emotional foundation of the collection, shaping both its spirit and its silhouettes.

PHAN HUY draws inspiration from iconic figures of the Nguyen Dynasty, including Crown Prince Bao Long, Empress Nam Phương, and Emperor Khai Dinh. Their lives reflect a singular historical moment in which Vietnamese imperial culture intersected with Western influence — an era defined by elegance, ritual, and modernity in dialogue with tradition. This cultural convergence is reinterpreted through couture techniques, precise tailoring, and intricate craftsmanship.

Each design within the Couture Spring–Summer 2026 collection is conceived as a generational heirloom, where precious materials, hand embroidery, and sculptural construction echo the artistry of gold and jade that inspired it. The result is a couture vision deeply rooted in heritage, imbued with a refined futurism, regal sensibility, and the unmistakable signature of PHAN HUY.

Beyond its design language, the show is elevated by the presence of internationally renowned figures from fashion and beauty. Legendary supermodel Coco Rocha closes the show, bringing it to a powerful conclusion with the poise and runway mastery that have defined contemporary fashion standards. She is joined by Ariadna Gutiérrez, First Runner-Up of Miss Universe 2015, a figure associated with one of the most iconic moments in pageant history, and Ophély Mézino, First Runner-Up of Miss World 2019, representing intelligence, strength, and a truly global spirit. Their presence not only heightens the show’s international stature, but also reinforces the cross-cultural dialogue at the heart of PHAN HUY’s couture journey.

With this collection, PHAN HUY affirms its position on the global couture stage — not merely presenting garments, but telling a cultural story that honors contemporary heritage through a distinctly Vietnamese lens.
Inspired by the silk paintings of Mai Trung Thu, the Western Mona Lisa is reimagined through an Eastern sensibility - softened, restrained and pure, permeating the atmosphere of PHAN HUY Couture Spring-Summer 2026.
A subtle interplay unfolds between Western classicism and Eastern sensibility — echoes of Ingres’ La Grande Odalisque (1814), softened through Mai Trung Thu’s “Nude” (c.1970s), gently enveloping PHAN HUY Couture Spring–Summer 2026.
Mai Trung Thu, "Diem trang cho dam cuoi" — silk’s delicate touch renders a feminine and pure fragment, poised in preparation for a moment of significance, drifting through the atmosphere of PHAN HUY Couture Spring–Summer 2026.
